Motor Metropolis Brewing Works’ Avenue of Fashion place is completely ready to open up

A longstanding name in Detroit craft beer will enter a new chapter subsequent week on Livernois’ Avenue of Style. 

Motor City Brewing Works’ new location will open up Tuesday subsequent a private ribbon-reducing ceremony with Mayor Mike Duggan Monday at 19350 Livernois in Detroit. The initial has stood at 470 W. Canfield in Midtown since the 1990s. 

The microbrewery is recognized for its well known Ghettoblaster ale, along with seasonal brews, wine, craft soda and brick oven pizzas. The new Livernois locale also has beer and pizza, plus burgers and sandwiches and beer-pleasant treats like charcuterie, brick oven chili, dips and nachos. 

“West Canfield is a tiny brewery with a kitchen area as an afterthought, type of shoehorned in down the road … this put (on Livernois) is a lot more restaurant-forward with a brewery in the qualifications,” explained owner John Linardos. Most of the beer offered on Livernois will be from the Canfield spot, as the new place is a “nano-brewery” with a one-barrel system.
